Guillard Back in the Octagon!

Melvin Falls Short Against Clementi

In a fight between two bitter rivals, Rich Clementi proved to be better prepared, especially once the fight hit the ground. Early in the first round, Melvin "The Young Assassin" Guillard rocked Clementi, promptinng Rich to quickly take the fight to the ground with a big body slam. Melvin escaped back to his feet but was unable to keep Rich from scoring another takedown. After taking Melvin's back, Clementi sunk in a rear naked choke at 4:40 of the first round. There was a lot of trash talking both before and after the fight and it is clear that Melvin is intent on a rematch.

Melvin loses Main Event.

Melvin “The Young Assassin” Guillard was submitted Thursday night by a calm Joe “Daddy” Stevenson. Melvin was ready to go and expected a battle but made a technical mistake, which cost him the fight. Stevenson was able to submit Guillard at 0:29 seconds into the first round with a guillotine choke. Stevenson was gracious in victory and Guillard was humble in defeat. Melvin is headed right back to training camp and looks to get back in the cage ASAP!

Melvin “The Young Assassin” Guillard once again put on a stellar performance as he knocked out his opponent with a highlight reel body blow. To no surprise, Melvin came out very aggressive and dominated his opponent with fierce combinations early on. The end of the round saw Melvin in some trouble as his opponent Gabe Ruediger took his back. Melvin escaped the round and came out aggressive to start the second. At 1:01 of the second round Melvin delivered his second body blow that put his opponent down for good. Melvin was ecstatic about the win and looks to maintain his dominance in the new lightweight division!

Guillard left no doubt that he will be force to be reckoned with in the new lightweight division. He declared after the fight that he is comfortable at the 155 lbs weight class and intends on taking home the title sooner than later.

Leben, Burkman, and Guillard excel at UFN 3!

It was a great night for the three fighters which each made a statement in their own way. Leben wasted no time taking out Jorge Rivera with crushing blows at 1:44 in the first round. Burkman once again wiped out the competition as he submitted Drew Fickett at 1:07 of the first round. Both Leben and Burkman looked impressive and moved one step closer to title contention. Guillard maintained his explosive style and showed everyone why he is so dangerous even in defeat. Guillard lost the fight due to a triangle choke but devastated his opponent and left him with one of the nastiest cuts in UFC history. Guillard may have not won the fight but took home “Fighter of the Night” honors and will fight again very soon.

Guillard will be taking on former cast mate Anthony Torres from Hawaii in an under card match. Guillard defeats Davis!

In an explosive fight were the action was non-stop, Melvin Guillard found himself with a victory in his first UFC match against Marcus Davis. Melvin nearly finished the fight with a flurry of punches in the first. In the second round Melvin dominated the action with good takedowns and several guard passes. Melvin finished the match halfway through the second as he cut his opponent with vicious elbows. The bout was called to a halt by the referee at the 2:55 mark of round two.
